The KONICA MINOLTA IOT LIVE SHOW 2024 Exhibition and Conference took place from 23-25 April at the BOK Hall in Budapest. The event this year introduced and celebrated innovative IoT solutions to 2500 visitors as an official co-event of Innoelectro 2024.
Indeveyes Technologies participated as an exhibitor in the event, which is also regarded as the number one professional event for the Hungarian IoT community. The IOT LIVE SHOW aims to showcase and promote IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions available in our country across various industries. The organizers’ mission is to build the domestic IoT community and to exclusively present and challenge innovative IoT solutions from various industries, both to the public and to a professional jury assembled by the main sponsor.
To our immense pride, in the IoT Solution Provider Competition that ran in parallel with the conference, out of 18 applicants, the professional jury awarded our production monitoring platform WaMeWo the professional grand prize !
What does WaMeWo, the winner of the Professional Grand Prize, do?
WaMeWo (Watch Me Working) is a potential digitalisation tool for manufacturing companies where production is already highly mechanised or automated and where further improvement of efficiency in the manufacturing processes is preferred to be obtained by optimising the operation of their machines.
Perhaps one of WaMeWo’s greatest strengths is that the it can access data from almost any industrial controller (without installing extra hardware or software) thanks to its proprietary data collection solutions, making the platform compatible with older controller series, not just modern i4.0-ready controllers. This enables older production lines, up to 10-20 years old, to use the most advanced software technologies to convert data into valuable business information.
WaMeWo is now a preferred platform at manufacturers such as Suzuki, Mercedes, Bekomold, Grundfos, MC Syncro and Prettl.
IoT is no longer just a technology for industry
IoT (Internet of Things) solutions are now not only part of the industrial world, but also of everyday life. In the private sphere as well as in an factory/working environment, there is a growing number of applications that support process optimisation and efficiency gains through online machine-to-machine communication.
The IoT Live Show, which took place for the third time this year, showcased technology solutions from various industries, not only in the fields of manufacturing optimisation, robotics and automation, but also in security, medical electronics, smart homes and automotive electronics, to name but a few. We are delighted that Mohanet Zrt., the organiser of the event, is striving for a diversity of exhibitors, and therefore offered not only SMEs but also start-ups the opportunity to exhibit at all its exhibitions, having enabled visitors to learn about Indeveyes’s other Industry 4.0 solutions, as well as our new ESG/energy monitoring service, in addition to WaMeWo.
On the closing day of the exhibition and conference, we participated in a round table discussion on IoT-based manufacturing optimisation with Konica-Minolta and Bosch-Rexroth.
